Title by Horace Dediu says it all. With that in mind, the fact that OS X is becoming more iOS-like rather than the other way around should surprise absolutely no one.
Think Apple should add a ‘Clear badges’ button that will remove all badge icons, expect those of the pinned apps at the bottom.

The new Bourne film looks like it could be good. The first three were all great, but all had Matt Damon as the base. They’re moving to Jeremy Renner now, but smartly keeping several other elements intact — namely Joan Allen, Albert Finney, David Strathairn, and Scott Glenn.
